Mission Statement
The mission and intent of C of L Havens is to make a positive difference in every life we touch, promoting health, safety, and individual rights.
Each haven provides housing for up to four adult persons, who are unable to live independently within the community. In a home-like environment, the residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible. Care and services provided to the residents are compatible with each individuals needs, while being treated with dignity and the respect they deserve.
Focusing on retained abilities, rather than abilities lost or under developed, staff provides supervision and supportive services needed to regain or maintain their highest functioning level. Programming and services for each resident will be provided at the level and frequency needed to provide stimulation. Activities are chosen in accordance with each residents capabilities and interests whenever possible. Every consideration is given to individual routines, likes and dislikes.
